Our HistoryIn order to improve the financial system of Georgia, transparency and efficiency, within the framework of state policy, the Government of Georgia, with the participation of the National Bank, launched an initiative to create a unified center for the settlement of retail payments of the population.
Based on this initiative, in 2008, the country's commercial banks founded the company JSC "United Clearing Center".
The initial idea was clear:
A single central platform that would simplify the receipt and processing of all types of retail payments from various payment channels.
Today, UCC is one of the important infrastructural pillars of the country's payments ecosystem - an organization that unites banks, companies and various institutions in a common, stable and secure payment space.

Our history — 2008 → presentIn 2008, within the framework of cooperation with the state and the National Bank, UCC was established as a single center for the settlement of retail payments in the country.
Over the years, as a result of stable operation and high responsibility, the National Bank of Georgia granted UCC the status of a “significant provider” — which means that our organization represents a critically important infrastructure for the country's financial system.
This status has further deepened our responsibility and contributed to the continuous improvement of service quality, safety and technological standards.
